A Spring Time Wedding

I've been lucky to be tapped for the planning process of a wedding set for spring. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, as we are all constantly learning and growing when it comes to our passion. The entire process has been a great collaboration between bride and design enthusiast. Below are two preliminary boards I put together that served as inspiration for reception decor.
Can't wait to show you the final product come April!

Final Decisions

Day trip to Philly and planning the decor for a dear friend's upcoming April wedding. Managed to fit in a little cafe con leche and finally decided on a color for my apartment living room. I'm putting aside my fears of gray being too dark of a shade for a small living room. But, lets face it -- it's the new color trend and we all must admit our unrequited love for it.

Gems: Craigslist {Finds}

I came across a a few special vintage finds on Craigslist this morning and thought they deserved some blog love.
Take a look at these gems below!

Not too in love with the color but definitely falling for the chipped, vintage detail of the legs.

I would love to put this in my kitchen as extra shelving for spices and bowls.

Vintage Grey wood coffee table. I've always been a huge fan of weathered objects and pieces.

Back to the City We Go

This month has been a whirlwind of activities, planning, plotting and conquering. Being in New Jersey for a few days made me realize the beauty of being a New Yorker and living in such a fruitful city. City  living, city love!

The neighborhood digs.

Old doorknobs, which I love; teal, earth and rustic brown colors.

Sticking to the Statement: Etsy Finds

I stick to the statement. When it comes to outfitting a space, I tend to gravitate towards pieces that make noise but can co-exist with other objects harmoniously. Of course, I love to remain within the realm of natural woods and neutrals. So, whenever I find myself on Etsy, I like to check out products with this sort of feel.
This chair belongs to a beautiful, solid slab wood table. I thought this was so well-crafted and I'm in love with the wood finish.

Etsy Shop: Crystal Mist Cottages

I love small chairs like this, which is priced for an amazing $12.50. It grants the opportunity to work some magic and personalize with a new cushion or paint job. The ultimate money saver.
